The Rotarians formed one of the many small teams working at one of 16 different sites to clear away discarded tires and other debris from along the Cuyahoga River and adjacent waterways. Club members worked along Big Creek and the Cuyahoga River.

RiverSweep, organized by Canalway Partners, was modified this year to ensure that the registration and clean-up process followed COVID-19 guidelines outlined by the CDC and the State of Ohio were followed.

Over the last 30 years, nearly 20,000 volunteers have participated in RiverSweep and resulting in the disposal of more than 700 tons of trash.
