Pornchanok “Briana” Wongniyom is our club’s second Rotary Youth Exchange student, arriving August 22 from Thailand.
She is sponsored by the Nakhonsawan Rotary Club. She has one sibling, an older brother, Parrut. She has recently completed her junior year at school.
Briana sees the exchange program as offering experiences that will make her a stronger person. She looks forward to doing new things, visiting new places, and learning about different cultures and traditions.
She also sees RYE as an opportunity to introduce other to the Thai culture, and upon returning to Thailand, telling others about her youth exchange experience.
She is the first RYE student from our club to attend Rocky River High School. She is currently living with the Gutierrez family. Her counselor is Marjorie Corrigan.
